Taster pour at brewery. Dark brown pour, flat, tiny ring of head. Aroma is chocolate and roasty malts. Taste is toasty, smoky , sweet, dark chocolate, coffee, bitter. Very smooth though, silky feel

Black with a medium sized soapy beige head. Dry, roasty and woody with a coffee note. Medium finish and body.

Cola, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with large tan head. Mildly sweet chocolate malt and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Body on the light side. Malt flavor a bit light.

Pint can thanks to weihenweizen! 1/10/22. Dark red-brown, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of cherry, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, dark fruit. Bit thin. Solid beer.

Can from Weihenweizen: pours clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is ashy molasses. Taste is somewhat bitter, a little burnt. Not too sweet. Pretty light bodied. This doesn't strike me very much as a Baltic Porter. It is fine, but...

Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is light cocoa, light body, lower carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is is cocoa and ash.
