Hop Tweak 7,5 is our second collab with our friend Espen Westum. We took the same malt bill as in Hop Tweak 7, but this time Chinook takes center stage with a touch of Simcoe. The aroma is sappy pine and citrus with a touch of herbs and spice.

Notater fra Mi2 Cardinal mai-22, dette er kveldens åttende fatøl (og vi er bare halvveis i programmet!): helt uklar skittengul med fint skum som varer. En smule røff i starten, Chinook og Simcoe-katten har satt tydelige spor etter seg - er vi kanskje over den verste mango/lactosebølgen i bryggerihistorien? Når ganen har fått den nødvendige tilvenning dukker det opp kjenner jeg citrus og plenty av furunål og granskudd i en saftig helhet. Fra fat. Velegnet til kalibrering av smaksløkene.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours cloudy light amber with off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine needles, some floral notes. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel, bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yellow stonefruits, hints of pineapple. Citric flavour, hints of yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits. The finish is piney/ resinous and medium bitter. Original review text: 440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 7.7%. Cloudy "dirty" yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, also pine and spruce. The flavour is on the sweet side, notes of sugar, oranges, tangerine and tropical fruits, hints of grapefruit, alcohol and resin, moderate bitterness.

200ml draught at Brygg. White patchy head, hazy yellow gold body, upper part lacing. Zesty citrus smell. Orange flavoured taste profile joined by mandarin, and grainy malts. Citrus to the finish, satisfying bitterness to it. Pretty good. Original review text: 440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bubbly white head with good duration over a hazy golden-yellowish body, dotted spots on the glass. Promising citrus aromas, floral whiff to it. Mixed taste profile of pineapple and juicy oats, mid-dry. Okay bitter level to the ending, noticeable alcohol and rather heavy to drink. Satisfying. Tap @ Patricks. Hazy yellow orange body under a small, lacing white head. Strong aroma of tropical fruit and mature peaches. Taste is like aroma, sweet juicy fruit, some citric zest and moderate bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste of the same juicy flavors. Pretty one dimensional at the juicy side, but remarkably balanced and well made with high drinkability. Nice, fresh tasting NEIPA.
