Hop Tweak 7,5 is our second collab with our friend Espen Westum. We took the same malt bill as in Hop Tweak 7, but this time Chinook takes center stage with a touch of Simcoe. The aroma is sappy pine and citrus with a touch of herbs and spice.

Can. It's an unclear one, orange in color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma is orangey, citrusy and piney, with some grass and pale malts. It's full-bodied and very pleasantly carbonated, semi-sweet, with a very soft bitterness. Grapefruit, pine cones, orange zest and a touch of pale malts and grass in the flavor. Lasting hop-driven finish. Nice indeed. 211103 --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Tweak #7,5 on 16 May 2022 at 17:38 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Can. An unclear orange beer topped by an off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma had a grassy, diacetyl-ish hint at first, with lots of grapefruit and pine cones. Some tropical hints too. It's very fruity in the flavor, with pine cones and a good dash of grapefruit and tropical fruity. Grassy, with a rather malty touch almost diacetyl-ish. Some alcohol and a light hopburn in the mouth, full body. Medium length hop driven finish. A bit unpleasant maltyness going on here, but the hops are really nice. Oxidized perhaps. 220516
