Fles. Bruine kleur. Mout, drop en groenten in de zwavelige geur. Moutig zoete smaak met caramel en zwavel. Peer. Zelfs een miniem zuurtje. Ik heb de inhoud van de fles binnen kunnen houden, maar daar hield het wel mee op.

Copper to light brown in colour. Aroma is grassy and woody as is the flavour. There is a little sweetness in the finish before a metallic bitterness comes through. Not very good.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai. Roodachtig tot bruin. Aroma is iets zoetig. Smaak is zurig en wrang. Nasmaak is ook zuur.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een dunne schuimkraag. De geur is caramel achtig. De smaak is zuur, zoals Benzai zegt infected.

Bottle @ tasting shared with TomHendriksen and Inoven. Hazy red-amber color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, brown candy sugar. Taste unfortunately is malts, a bit sourish, not really a showcase of infection, but definitely not the way it was intended I'm sure, Best before date just expired, so could be because of that, label says best before September 2017. Anyway, quite bad now flavorwise. Aroma was still ok.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik. Very dark amber with a thin off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with considerable hop presence. Taste is medium bitter and.... and then my glass fell on the ground.... after one, rather enjoyable, sip. Nice doppelbock though, will buy again.

Bottle from Mitta Bunnik, BB Sept 2017, large sample. Clear amber to copper color, short frothy head. Aeoma is spicy, cinnamon, nutmeg, bit autumn leaves, toffee. Quite spicy in taste, dry of spices, soft bitterness. Belgian double styled bock.
