Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is spicy with dark malt, salty liquorice, cardamom, touch of roast and juniper. Medium sweet flavour with a light bitterness. Medium body, drinks below its abv.

Thuis uit een flesje. Donkerbruin met lichtbruin schuim. Geroosterde koffie in het aroma. Smaak licht bitter, chocolade, beetje caramel en vanille.

Fles 33cl thuis. Laurier, kardemom, rogge, salmiak, zacht, roasted malts, wat koffie, zoethout, zoeten, hout, licht vanille, cacao, fruittonen, kruidig, droog. Er gebeurt veel. (31-10-2020).

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Dutch brewery #319 Black with a thin tan head. Juniper berry aroma with roasted malts, licorice, herbs and vanilla. Sweet taste with some saltiness, sourness and bitterness as well. It's basically all over the place but in a good way. Long licorice finish. Very peculiar but also very tasty and unique imperial porter. Very well done.

Bottle. Almost black. Malt and vanilla in the aroma. Full bodied, chocolate, vanilla and dried juniper in the flavor. Toffee. Smooth, fairly low on carbon. Nice beer.

Bottle @ home, 2017 edition (BBE June 2018). Mostly black colour. Light brown head, short retention. Aroma's: sweet, caramel, spices (cardemom is actually noticeable), salty/umami/drop. Retronasal: drop, sweet, light umami. Flavour: heavy sweet with light roasted notes and light umami. Medium bodied. Alcohol quite well hidden. Finishes slightly roasty with some spice and light bitterness. Pleasant, albeit on the sweet side.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma has plenty of cardamom, very floral. Texture is thick and oily. Floral cardamom and juniper but not overpowering
