We use our Tempest Honey spiced Rum and steep it in oak chips before adding it to the beer during the conditioning phase. The beer is dark, stormy and very drinkable!
Ingredients:

Creamy tan head on a still black body. Malt, roasted & sweet aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue with a tingle on the back. Malt, chocolate, roasted & honey tastes with a sweet finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Poured almost black with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light oak. The flavour is light sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, slightly watery, light dry oak, light herbal palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation after the initial fizz. Didn’t really get any of the promised honey or rum. Just a bit of a herbal mess. Glad I only bought the one bottle.
