Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is very spicy and herbal with coriander, lemongrass, fruity grassy notes, malt, grain, cardamom. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Very spicy and herbal but pretty enjoyable.

Swingtop 0,45 ltr: Cloudy yellow colored brew with an more dry than sweet bitter taste, hints of ginger, cinnamon and lemon. More spices then an usual Belgian Tripel, good effort from Grolsch.

Thuis uit een beugelfles van 45 cl. Licht troebel geel van kleur. Wit schuim. Aroma wat oude gist, smaak goed, war lichte citrus, licht kruidig, niet slecht.

Donkergeel troebel bier met stevige schuimkraag. Dit bier doet zijn naam eer aan, als de fles opengaat komt de geur je tegemoet. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en heel kruidig met iets van banaan, wat koriander en banaan.

Clear yellow appearance with thin head. Aroma and flavour are heavy with sweet spice. Clove, coriander. Too sweet and spicy for me.
