For our 8th year Anniversary Party we have brewed a new batch of Confessions that is stylistically similar to All That I Have Learned + Demons Surround Me. This BIG Russian Imperial Stout packs a punch at 16.5%, with just enough malty sweetness to conceal the booziness while also contrasting bold roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

Tap. Black color with no head. Aroma is mild roast, chocolate, cocoa. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, roasty, mildly bitter finish. Thick mouthfeel, low carbonation. Solid, but a bit too sweet.

MBCC. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 130522
