For our 8th year Anniversary Party we have brewed a new batch of Confessions that is stylistically similar to All That I Have Learned + Demons Surround Me. This BIG Russian Imperial Stout packs a punch at 16.5%, with just enough malty sweetness to conceal the booziness while also contrasting bold roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

5 ounce bottle pour at the brewery - inky black - slick mouthfeel - tons of molasses and chocolate - light leather and umami - some dark fruit and red wine - surprisingly balanced for the strength, without a lot of alcohol heat, but the heft and oiliness encourage slow sipping - really nice.
