Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Foamy white head. Nose - dank, slightly dirty, resinous, peach and citrus zest. Taste - green hop up front and then tutti frutti, stone fruit and tropical. Palate - medium bodied, a touch creamy in the middle and the green hop bitterness on the end. Overall - a bit challenging but quite good.

29/12/2022. Can from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, herbal/weedy, grapefruit, stone fruit, touch of pine. Moderate sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, tart edge. Medium body, slightly spritzy carbonation. Dry finish. good.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Citrus notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

440ml can. Hazy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, minimally grassy and piney, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon and tangerine, mango and passion fruit, some pineapple, minimally sugary, pale malty basis. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, pale malty, moderately bitter, citrusy fruity, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy, minimally diluted notes of orange, lemon, some mango, passion fruit, pineapple. The fruitiness fades away, solely leafy and bitter hoppy after a short while; accordingly dry and papery finish. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. A tad sugary, rather ephemeral hop flavours - pretty good with little restrictions, a bit below average considering the foolproof hop combination.

Can from Great Grog. Murky deep golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and melon. Flavour follows the aroma. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An impressive IPA.
