(Bottle, 0.33 l, a sample, at Pien Shop, 20220527) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vineousness and liquorice. Palate was full bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vineousness, dark chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was vineous, burnt and bitter. A taste brew that hid its very high ABV well.

Thin, boozy, sweet. Caramel, red berries, licorice, dry barrel, finishes dry. Hefty amount of booze but reasonably smooth, very nice.
