U heeft hier een unicum in de hand! Wentersch introduceert als eerste bierbrouwerij een Nederlands druivenbier met zijn oorsprong in de Achterhoek. Gemaakt met sap van druiven afkomstig van Wijngaard Hesselink in Winterswijk. Deze samenwerking levert een symbiose die bier- en wijnliefhebbers nader tot elkaar brengt. Een glas vloeibare Achterhoekse zon, uiting van het goede leven in het Bourgondische oosten van Nederland. Wentersch Druuf is een subtiel, zacht fruitige specialiteit, waarvan elke slok vraagt om een vervolg. Heer- lijk bij jonge en romige kaassoorten, kalfsvlees en mosselen.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Malty with soft floral notes and grape juice in both aroma and flavor. Dry, thinnish. Yeasty finish.

33cl bottle from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A clear deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet grainy malt, honey, spices. Taste of moderate sweet grainy pale malt, honey, some spices and vegetables.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, sweetish, lightly sugary, lightly floral. Average body and carbonation. Drinkable.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow with a large white head. Smells yeasty, fruity, floral, meh.. Tastes fruity, yeasty, soapy,floral. A bit like Kasparus beer used to be. Thin to medium body, bit heavy on the carbo.
