De Eanske Spontaan is a unique beer made of 100% spontaneous fermentation. The beers have matured for 1 year in oak barrels and then another 1 year in the bottle. This batch was brewed in 2015 and bottled in 2016 and entered the market in early 2017 (January)

Vat 3, fles 162. Corked. Small persistent head. Apricot, lemon and oak in the complex aroma. Bitter walnuts flavor with lots of oak and citrus. Moderate sourness. Perhaps needs more time to unfold and get rid of by-flavors, the aroma is lovely.
