ZESTY CRISP was the brainchild of our Lead Brewer, Andrew “Pres” Presnell. On brewday, this Pilsner base was dosed with fresh lemon zest and pink peppercorns in the whirlpool. The combination of the Rye malt, lemon zest, and pink peppercorns give this delicate beer a wonderful sweet floral characteristic. Pink Peppercorns, which are actually a dried berry, present themselves as more of a botanical elment, rather than a sharp pepper bite.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish honey gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Nice crackery malt aromas with a healthy dose of lemon zest present. Peppercorn appears on the palate as it warms and adds a peppery bite. Lingering zest and crackery malt on the finish.
