330ml bottle. Darkest mahogany colour with ruby glimmer and small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, ochre-ish beige head. Rather weak, minimally sweet-ish, malty-spicy, earthy-woody and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, cherries, forrest soil, rotting logs. Taste is slightly sweet, malty-spicy, minimally nutty, earthy-woody and fruity hoppy, hints of red berries, morello cherries, plum, dry, woody overtones. Quite complex but without elaborated intensity.

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and butterscotch, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Mid brown, small head. Sweet caramel, vanilla, raisins, bread and herbs on aroma. Taste has sweet malts, plum, bread, bitter herbs at the end. Quite full body, low carbonation. Too much alcohol on taste, also quite heavy to drink.

33cl bottle as a gift. Pours clear golden with a rather modest off-white head. Aroma of malt, rye, caramel and raisins with hints of herbs, bread and dark fruits. Sweet as expected, but quite balanced. Malty and somewhat bready with lightly herbal and spicy finish. Tasty and quite enjoyable, but still not one of my favourite styles.
