Weicher, süßlich malziger Beginn. Zunehmend trocken herb, dabei bleibt die Malznoten cremig, etwas röstig. Trockene Toffeenoten zum Ende bei steigender Herbe. Gut! 10/10/10/12/9/11

Feb. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from 100 piv, Bratislava. It poured a hazy, very dark brown body with a small brownish head. Fine roasted malt aroma, coffee, dried plums, cocoa. Flavor was sweet, coffee, cocoa and licorice. Very smooth, creamy on palate within its medium body. Lightly alcoholic in the finish, but otherwise okay chalky cocoa-coffeeish. Seemed too smooth for a Baltic porter, at least compared to these I’ve tried, more like an Imperial porter, as it was designated, however if the bottom-top fermentation is a separator, considering tradition, okay. A nice porter.

Közepes, tartós, barna hab. Édeskés, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok. Íze kissé édes, feketecsokis-kávés, némi aszalt gyümölccsel. Közepes szénsav, komoly test, minimális keserű. Finom jól összerakott sör.

deep dark brown colour, minimal creamy beige head, which disappears quickly; aroma of chocolate, dried sour cherry, chocolate, maybe some liqueur; taste is the same; nothing really extraordinary, but still a great beer, which is perfect for a Saturday evening :-)
