The newest collaboration out of Patina is with some very talented KPU grads from R&B Brewing, Mountainview Brewing, Stanley Park Brewing, KPU, and Patina Brewing. Their brainstorming brew is an Aprium sour!
This new Aprium sour comes in at 5% ABV and is perfect for the warming weather. It is available on tap at Patina, Mountainview, and R&B Brewing.
So what's an Aprium??
Well, it is what you get when you cross 75% Apricot with 25% Plum. Yes, it's a real fruit. We didn't make this up!
So tell me what to expect!
This is an approachable sour boasting flavours of apricot and plum. It is light and refreshing whether you are outside enjoying the spring sunshine or inside watching the spring showers.

Okay hazy orange body and some modest foam. Aroma is nice apricot and blueberry, but approaching a little too close to air freshener. Taste is mellow fruitiness, tart but a little indistinct. Ends too thin with lingering soft tin. Not a sour you'd introduce to your mother.
