Draft at The Saloon on its last night before reconstructing school in Rajastan. Clear deep amber color, large off white head with good retention and lacing. Lightly biscuity aroma. Taste is malty but not too sweet. Decent.

Hazy dark amber and orange/red with little white head. Aroma is citrus, floral hops, light fruits. Not very intense but seems to be a deliberate combination. Taste is somewhat disappointing: Malty, soapy, sour and some not so elaborate bitter hops. Watery body, and more soap in the finish. However very easy to drink and fresh. Could have been better, could have been worse. Average I guess.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, offwhite head. Flowery and citric hop aroma, some skunk. Minerally/dead yeast notes up front (having it lie down was appareantly a bad idea), fat fruity malt base, strangely light body though, understated bitterness - less crisp than a bog standard Warsteiner, quick finish, unexiting. It feels like the brewers were held back here.

Sampled from bottle thanks to TomHendriksen. Clear orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, lightly herbal and slight hops. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden colour with a loose and collapsing slightly off-white foamy head. Herbal and mildly resiny hoppy aroma with bready malt and a tinge of caramel. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, still quite light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with traces of caramel, backed by herbal, slightly nettle-like and delicately resiny hops; slim cara-malty and mildly hop bitter finish. Not a great one, still the best one ever committed by Warsteiner so far. 29.V.16

0.33 l bottle from ’REWE Budnik & Homberg’, best before September 2016. Minimally hazy, luscious orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white to tan head. Sweetish-malty, sightly musty aroma of straw, some caramel and honey. Sweetish-malty, slightly musty taste of caramel, honey, sweet grains and straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little dusty finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nothing wrong with it, quite quaffable actually, but still not very good as well.
