Pours dark amber with really thin dark beige head.
Nose is roasted malt and a bit of caramel. Flavor the same. A bit of fruity sweetness, especially on the finish.
Low to no carbonation.

Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van hout wat karamel en wat geroosterde noten. Heeft een waterig mondgevoel. Matig en vlak smakend bier met een wat vreemde bijsmaak.

Dark Cappuccino head.
Llight clay nose, medium body, light roast, mineral. Chewey dry, light bready, good bitterhop balance, good drinkability

On tap at Schlosswirtschaft Moos, Friday 4th October 2024, in the company of Craig and Stella. This pours dark chestnut with a large off white head. Fruity with a maltiness, nice with a little tanginess.

Schöne, dunkle Farbe. Geruch süßlich, frisch, etwas Traubensaft. Und damit weiß man auch, was einem geschmacklich erwartet. Hier kommt aber auch das Malz und eine säuerliche Nuance stärker raus. Ganz leichte Röstnoten und minimale Spuren von Kaffee. Recht schmackhaft. Einen Hauch zu viel Kohlensäure. Trotzdem eher auf der süffigen, als auf der schweren Seite.

Bottle 0.5 l. Dark bronze to chestnut color, good creamy head. Aroma: grain, light and dark malts, caramel, a hint of hops. Sweetish taste, caramel malt, slightly dried fruit, slightly bitter finish.
