Bottle. Amber color. Herbal yeasty Maltaroma and flavor. Caramel. Hint of sourness. Cellar notes. Mediocre. Thanks PotjeBier!

30 cl bottle Batch# 5, next to batch 4 (6.8%) & 6 (7.3%). All have the same color, deep amber, mostly clear. No head. Aroma’s: quite light, malty, light fruit, a bit ginger ale. Additionally smoke/ash retronasal. Flavor is light sweet, ashy, light fruity. Light bodied. Finishes with as, light bitter. Interesting, not too bad.

Bottle @ home. The 5.3% is hand written on the cap by the great PotjeBier, respect! Clear reddish color, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, a slight sweetness but completely surprisingly there’s hints of peat in there. And it can’t explain why, it definitely is not in my glass. Weird. Taste malts, lightly sweetish, lightly yeast and a bit herbal. Average to decent body and carbonation. Hmm, a bit weird.
