Pours clear copper with a short, off-white head. Scent is faint, citrus, pine. Taste is resiny, dark orange-peel, malt. Bittering is mild, a little bready. Nice flavour, very tame.

22oz bottle from Country wine and spirits in CA
Appearance: Pours hazy golden with a big off-white head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Grapefruit, dusty caramel and pine
Taste: Dusty caramel, citrus and pine resin
A decent IPA but the dusty malts were too much.

Bomber. Pours a deep orange/gold in color. Thick and creamy white head that leaves plenty of spotty lacing. Aroma? Maybe a bit of citrus hops. Taste is big and bold. Flavor is exotic fruits, pine resin, sweet caramel malts, and yeast. Almost a funky belgian yeas (this one had lots of sediment that I swirled in). Medium bodied with above average carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel and slightly alcoholic in taste.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, a little hazy lightish orange colour, orange blossom, slightly overipe oranges, herbs and tobbaco, malty sweetness with some citrus and herbal bitterness which is quite short, overipe oranges aftertaste. Nice but not too exciting.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Slightly hazy amber. Aroma of caramelly and cookie-ish malt and slightly stale hops, citric and a bit piney. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit of grainy, with a bitter hoppy finish, a bit too short. Medium-bodied. OK, but seems past its prime.

Tap. Pours clear light amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit with notes of pine and some astringency. Flavor is also grapefruit. Some sweetness apparent but no real malt flavors. Finish is medium bitter. Quite nice.

Pours slightly hazed, dark gold into a Sam glass. Off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sweet pine and resin aromas. Well balanced with sweet caramel and earthy, roasted nuts and resin.

Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Very hoppy, IPA worthy, exotic fruit and orange marmalade. Very dry-bitter grapefruit, filled with some resin; bitter rosewater or lytchees (the kernels?) Light MF, quite slick, hopoils feel. Very classical, exemplary IPA.

Bottle at Sander’s place, NYC. One of my last beers of this trip. Pours clear orange with a foamy, off-white head. Dry citrus aroma with notes of wood, pine and toasted straw. Lovely flavor, medium sweet, some wood and grass, pine, candi sugar, mango, grapefruit. Medium in body with average, smooth carbonation. Sticky, lightly dry finish, nice and sweet, resinous pine, toasted sugar, grass, straw, juicy orange and grapefruit, some tropical fruits. This is a damn solid IPA.
