Draft at the Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden. Poured a murky dark brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a big, rich, earthy, sweet chocolate, lactose, light liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0.44 l can shared with little Dina. Murky dark brown to black, diminishing beige head. Aroma is chocolate cake, roasted malts and red fruit. Cocoa nibs and coffee beans. Medium to full body, soft texture, soft to moderate carbonation. Alcohol hidden, good balance, dark chocolate, dark cherry, cocoa, roasted malts. Tartness from cherries and dark malts, chocolate, caramel and cherry sweetness. Lasting semi-dry finish.

Can, 0.44l. Black pour, two finger creamy beige head, medium retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, wood notes, bready, cake. Hints of cherries, cocoa in the background. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft, easily drinkable. A bit lighter than expected, would love more thickness to it. Roasty bittersweet taste, nicely balanced. Aroma of dough, cherries, chocolate, cocoa. Subtle roasty touches, sticky, quite dry. Medium lasting finish. Tasty but slightly fuller body would be nice.

Can at Goblet ZG shared with Deda Damir. Very dark brown body, almost black, tan head. Lean aroma, chocolate, light cherries, dark malts, perfumey. Chocolates and cherries, juicy almost dominating the very pleasant taste - I mean, it's not very stouty in the flavor profile, the nibs and cherries have taken over everything, and the body is strange for the style, but that's not a bad thing here IMO.

Canned 440ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, light chocolate nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, some caramel and touch of cherries (Griotte) with mild dry roasty finish. Quite boring.
