Bottle at home. Aroma is pale malt, hay, fruity, citrus, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet, pleasantly restrained for a Heller Bock. Almost has a wheaty kinda sourness hidden in the flavour. Medium bodied. Definitely above average for the style!

Bottle. Pale Amber color. Malt, hints of caramel and plums in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with hints of toffee, plums and red fruit. Low on carbon. Surprisingly Good.

Bottle shared with Koelschtrinker. Sehr trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch mild süß malzig, Getreide, trocken. Geschmack ist mild fruchtig malzig, getreidig malzig, trocken, uninteressant.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Hazy light orange color, average sized off-white head. Aroma is off, way off. Definitely infected, butter mixed with infection and a slight sourness. Tastes the same. Too bad, I usually really like heller bocks but this one’s gone bad.
