Tap @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2014. Dark brown color. Cloudy. Rye and raspberry in the aroma. Caramelly sweet, slightly citric sour flavor. Rye and raspberries.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Very dark brown color, almost opaque. Beige head. Aroma’s: lactic acid, raspberry, roasted malts, rye. With some chocolate added retronasal. Flavor is moderate sour, lactic, roasted. Body is light to medium. Finish is somewhat dry, chocolate-y. Very nice already, but some wood-aging would make this a great Flemish sour brown.

Brownish color, small beige head. Moderately sour, a hint of sour grapepeel. Always weird to have a sour dark beer. For some reason it just doesn’t match in my opinion. Decent enough beer overall but just not my thing I guess.
