Our head brewer, Mat has a passion for Belgian style beers and One in Five Thousand is a complex and slightly spiced variation on the traditional Belgian quad style. This beer was initially brewed for our barrel project, however whilst tasting the base beer, we enjoyed it so much that we're giving you the opportunity to try a small amount pre-barrel. This full bodied quad fills the mouth with flavours of toffee, dried fruits, plums and warms the very cockles of your heart. The name and artwork are reference to the fact that only one in five thousand clovers have four 'quad' leaves.

Can shared with Laura. Clear amber color, huge sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, red fruit oddly enough, light cherry stone hints, minerals. Pretty weird actually tbh. Weird combination imo. Mwah. Drinkable but not really "one" so to speak. Kind of all over the place.

(Keg at Ravintola Hämeentie, 20220817) The beer poured bronze coloured and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, ripe fruits and Belgian style yeast. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, toffee, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, spicy and bitter. A nice brew with spicy notes from the yeast. The ABV was rather well hidden.

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of candy sugar, spices, dried fruit, yeast, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, candy sugar, dried fruit, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Too sweet and not complex enough
