Het Gember bier is amberkleurig en bevat echte verse Chinese gember. Dit zorgt voor een echte frisse gembersmaak

Het gemberbier is lekker als fris zo te drinken bier en combineert ook goed met oosterse gerechten.

Aroma of heavy ginger, spices, cough syrup, medicinal notes. Flavour is sweet with a light bittersweet finish. I guess if you just can’t get enough of ginger this may appeal. I however found it sickeningly sweet and I was unable to enjoy it.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy amber colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, pretty much hints of ginger in this one, Most of the time i don’t like ginger, but now its pushes to the edges what i can bear.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Malt, marmelade and ginger in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish. The ginger luckily doesn’t, dominate which keeps this beer Drinkable. Ginger in the sticky finish.

Ginger beer from Groningen, received as a gift from Craftmember’s family, big cheers for that. Moussy, medium thick, egg-white head over a lightly hazy peach blonde beer with orangey hue. Aroma strongly dominated by dried ginger powder and even gari (candied ginger), covering impressions of apricot, chamomile, dry grass, pear, toasted white bread, strawberry, vague iron somewhere. Crisp, refreshing onset, some restrained fruitiness, low sweetness and very soft sourishness, hints of peach, pineapple, slight banana and gooseberry, minerally and slightly ’souring’, spritzy carbonation (perhaps a tad overcarbonated even), supple and slick body, some graininess quickly gaining a nutty edge, lightly toasted, spiciness apparent from the start but increasing towards the finish with a strong, dominating dried and / or candied ginger effect retronasally, bit resinous, somewhat peppery as well, very aromatic and actually blending well with a grassy, earthy hop bitterish touch, while thin malt sweetishness continues throughout. I have no idea if this was the first ginger beer in the Netherlands but in any case it does remind me of the - stronger - De Graal Gember in Belgium, but in comparison, it lacks some of the fruitiness of that one, making it a bit of a one-trick pony: you will hate this if you do not like ginger. May pair well with ginger-spiced dishes, I suppose, and technically this is certainly okay, so not bad for what it intends to be.
