Aroma of soft malt, hay, floral notes, fruits, some citrus, herbal notes, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Not a stellar hop bomb APA, more like a hoppy Pilsner.

Bottle. Blonde. Grassy citric leavy aroma. Thinnish, but a firm grassy citric hopbitter flavor. leavy, slightly herbal. The herbalness in lingering on in the aftertaste. Nice one.

Draft pour pint at Tipsy Cow, Woodinville. I know I've had this in the years past, but figured I never rated it. All I remember from the first couple experiences was trying to figure out why and how this was so different from your usual pale. It's gotta be the pils malt. It really takes center stage in this one, at least as far as my taste goes. A clean, clear, shiny golden pour. Grassy hop aroma with a fresh feel, paired with a steady malt. Somewhat dry in flavor, cool constant, and remains a very flavorful pilsner malt. Moderate grassy hop bitterness. Overall an incredibly interesting pale. Certainly can't think of another like it. I enjoy this brew more and more each time I try it.

On tap at Departure. Pours a clear gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grass, wheat, earth. Medium mouth, similar flavors to nose, lingering bitterness, good.

Very good, light-yellowish head, stable and lacey over lively carbonated, hazy yellow-golden beer with a faint green sheen. Rather milky, lactic nose, bit dusty, green leaves. Bitterish, wry, rather resiny onset, followed by more mild flavours, hint of malt sweetness. Finish and aftertaste are again bitter, hoppy & metallic. Quite carbonated, near spritz. Medium bodied but qutie slick-hopoily, yet refreshing. Nowhere bad, but it might have presented more inviting, invigorating aromas.

Clear orange pour, with a nice head, in the style of a Belgian strong ale or a tripel. The smell is surprisingly like a Belgian pale ale, as well (I was expecting a typical American hop-bomb): citrusy Belgian yeast throughout, with some soft cheese present, as well. The taste - bread, white wine, citrusy hops and a bitter backbone. Very dry.
