CONVERGENCE is an Imperial Stout brewed in collaboration with Spartacus Brewing from Brazil. For this stout we truly converged our recipes which gave us a great foundation to add adjuncts. We decided that adding Brazilian coffee would be our primary adjunct to bring a taste of Brazil to the beer. But from there we thought, "why not go big?" and so we added vanilla and hazelnut to go with it. Barclay Brewing isn't known for adding adjuncts so this is a treat. We hope you enjoy it!

Can. Pours black. Coffee, coconut, biscuit, sweet vanilla, nutty, roasty, bitter roast. Good body. A classy stout. Very good.

Can from Chris M... I think: pours oily nlack with a brown head. Aroma is loads of coffee, hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, nuts of hazel. Taste is sweet, but not like a pastry. The bitterness is there. The coffee is bold and hardly an afterthought. It definitely is thick and sweet, but it is so in a nice way.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Coffee focused nose with dark chocolate and vanilla as it warms. Some hazelnut and treacle notes as well. More of the same on the palate. Lingering molasses with coffee on the finish.
