Bottle, courtesy of saxo. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, white head. The aroma is weak, grainy and fruity with a yeasty touch. Dry and medium bodied, with flavors of pale malts, some bitterness and fruits. Some bitterness in the end too. A drinkable one indeed, but an unclear pilsner style beer can be so much better. 110416

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Discreet malty nose. The body is thin but there’s some decent flowery hops in there that also adds to the solid bitterness. Starts pretty bland but offers a nice comeback. 160411

50cl can. Poured slightly hazy, yellow/orange color with a white head. Aroma is earthy and fruity malty. Flavor is grainy, slightly hoppy, citrusfruity. Nice and drinkable beer, thumbs up for unfiltered.

Can 500ml (BB 04/2011)
I’ve had this few times before but this is the first time I am rating this Finnish organic pils from Nokian Panimo. Can claims Finnish ingredients, but I doubt that hops are not Finnish. It also includes E300 ... As unfiltered, has hazy orange outlook with small white head. Aroma is grainy, a bit sticky, sweetish-hoppy, German landbier-like. Decent body for 4.5% beer. Flavor is grainy, citrusy hoppy, almost acidic-sour. Maybe that orange flavor is from Vitamin C added to the beer? Grassy, a bit vegetably hoppyness. This is a pretty close to some German unfiltered keller/landbiers. Solid performance from Nokia, but not an instant hit.

Canned (from K CityMarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is grains, boiled vegetables, mild wooden notes as well. Flavour is melted rubber, boiled vegetables, mild sweet malts and some slight bitterness. No need to buy more of this (except for the peeps I trade with...)

Cloudy, yellow beer with medium and white head. Aroma is pure and fresh, lots of grass, blond malts, some honey and also very small hints of vegetables. Taste is similar than aroma, pure and refrehning, autumn grainfield and grassy hops, nicely long aftertaste. Nice to drink, even with quite high carbonation. Aromatic, fresh, tastefull and succesfull pils.
