This beer originates in English Ale from the colonial era, which was strengthened and properly hopped to withstand a long voyage through the tropics to final destination India, hence the name India Pale Ale (IPA). By the time it almost disapeared, but was successfully revived in the 1975 in San Francisco Anchor Brewing. Thanks to the newly available, aromatic, American-grown hops, it quickly spread to craft breweries throughout the whole US and became one of the most popular beer styles worldwide. However, the taste of beer was obtained from different spices, herbs and fruits before the appearance and breeding of the hops. We combined these approaches and, in addition to the proper dose of hops, we also added orange juice and aromatic peel to our Tropical IPA. The Ale has therefore a pungent aroma of ripe oranges and juicy taste with a pleasantly bitter bite.

33cl bottle from the brewery. Head is big, off-white, good retention. Colour is amber, clear. Aroma is citrus, mellow tropical fruits. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, grapefruit, toast, bit tropical fruits, nice balanced harmonic long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed for sure.

Bottle kindly delivered by Dejan, many thanks man. Amber color off-white head. Ripe fruit, citrus hops in aroma. Fruity taste, oranges, tangerines, harsh hoppy bitternes,minerals. Not great, not terrible.

Bottle kindly delivered by Dejan, thanks pal! Pours amber. Ripe fruits on nose. Taste is juicy, bit of unhealthy acidity, quite okay though not in perfect condition.

Tap at Salon piva. Quite classic citrusy resiny exotic hoppiness. Hops centered, med-high bitterness, easy drinking.

Tap at Salon piva 4/2018. Hopy aroma, citrus fruit, resin, caramel notes. Hazy amber color, small white head. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter, light sweet notes. Medium body, slick texture, soft to average carbonation and hopy bitter finish. Good.

V Laniuse. Ovocna plna vona, trochu ako bylinkove kvapky. Pena drzi. Jantarova farba. Chut horka bylinkova, silna, drevita, stipe na jazyku. Na konci ostava.
