0.5l bottle from kaisers in berlin. pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head and a nice lacing. aroma of grains, hay. flavour of grains, butter, dough. slight grassy bitterness towards the finish. balanced.

Butilka: Pale golden; strawy - a bit sourish, too - and grainy nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively dry, light bodied and a bit tart; short herbal-tart finish with grainy traces. Surely a cheap one , but not too bad…

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond fluffy head. Grainy malty aroma with slightly doughy spots and a shy spicy hoppy background. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly grainy and papery pale malty taste with hints of spicy, slightly grassy hops; dry-ish bitter-sweet, again slightly papery finish. 28.IV.14

50cl bottle from a small store in Dunckerstraße, Berlin. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Moderate malty with some fruity notes and hints of herbs and honey. Moderate sweet with a quite light bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Easy drinking helles, but hardly memorable. (2013-10-12)
