Look: dark brown with red highlights and a big beige head.
Aroma: light smoked sausage, barely detectable sweetness as it warms up.
Taste:dry, moderate roast with an acid hint, burnt wood, good smoky bitterness, some fruit as it warms up. Quite thin body though.

Bottled 330ml from Alko. ABV 6.5%. Dark brown color, small brownish head. Wood, wet smoked in the nose. Medium-bodied, crisp carbonation. Ashy, tobacco flavor. Quite decent maltyness, no alcohol. Quite special, not anything to drink in quantities.

Draught (tnx Joona). Deep reddish brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is rye bread, grains, mild burnt wet wood, some sweet toffee and a bit tar like. Flavour is rye, caramel, smoked wet wood and some leathery notes. Balanced.

Batch 497-8. BBE 01.11.2013 - Pours dark brown, almost black, with a foamy white head. Aroma of ashy and grainy malts, hints of smoke, roastiness and leather. Taste is sweetish, mildly smoked and roasty with some rye, grainy malts and leather. Finish is sweet, smoked and roasty with some rye notes. Okay, a bit unbalanced.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - erä #497-8, 20130608) The beer poured deep dark brown. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had roasted malts, smoke and liquorice. Palate was full bodied and quite dry wih quite high carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, smoke, ash, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. Smoke was quite mild and a bit too burnt.

Sold as Stadin Savuruisportteri. Smell of yeast and smoke. Very dark brown, with dark brown head. Aroma of yeast, smoke, burnt malt. Sweet and bitter. Rich in carbon. Nice smoked one.

33cl bottle, #497. BB 1.11.13. Poured dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, smoke, molasses. Flavor has tar, smoke, roastedness, mint candy / licorice. Sweet finish with some cocoa. OK, but quite sweet for my taste.

A dark brown beer with a medium, dense and light brown head. Aroma is dry and smoked, wood, chalk and hint of fruits. Taste is strongly roasted, almost burned, lots of smoke, nice and balancing sweetness, turf in the aftertaste that dominate. Medium+ bodied, weak and smooth carbonation, nice and easy to drink. Aroma is not totally convince, but the taste and palate save this beer. Dry smoked and turf -type of Smoked beer.

Aroma is smoky and nice with ash and some woody notes. Flavour has woody notes, ash, some peat, smoke and hints of chocolate. Nice, this has something in common with HB Norwegian Wood.
