Aroma is moderate malty, keller, hay, toasted, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity, damp stain - fusty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110424]

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with cloudy shades and a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet grainy, cereal-like aroma with a delicate herbal hoppy touch. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a well-matured, crispy mouthfeel. Moderately chalky, grainy and herbal hoppy taste with notes of citrus; dry and quite bitter finish with herbal, but not too aromatic hops. Anyway a pleasant brew with rural character.

Bottle: Rural, grainy nose with a distinctive bitterness; pale golden, a bit unclear with a persistent lacing white head; relatively dry and bitter (chalky) flavour; soft MF, low carbonation; grainy bitter finish with a rural touch and a citrousy aftertaste. A good, basic franconian brew.............
