750ml bottle. Opalescent, ruby colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, pink-ish, off-white head. Earthy, fruity aroma, notes of red and dark berries and cherry, blackcurrant predomination, hints of bramble, blue grapes and blueberry as well, lactic whiffs of sauerkraut. Taste is dry, tart, fruity, amalgamated notes of morello and blackcurrant, tartness has a light vinegar touch, hints of blue grapes add a tangy, spicy feature. Texture is a tad more viscous than pure water, slightly astringent palate, fine, prickly carbonation contributes to the dryness, lingering, tart-ish fruity finish. Not overly complex, but the combination of cherry and blackcurrant builds a very nice and well matching composition that admits imaginary space for more subtle red and dark berry flavours. Pretty decent.
