Our Barleywine-style ale is aged in whiskey barrels and left to rest for twelve months. GREAT pours a chestnut amber hue with an off white foam. Hints of caramel, oak, whiskey, sweet bread aromas are balanced by a sweet malty character dominated by caramel, oak and vanilla with trace amounts of whiskey.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels, toasted bready malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is hot, with plenty of whiskey barrels, alcohol, toffee and bready malt. The body is somewhat thin, but the flavours are very nicely balanced. Very good.
