Brewlab series. Bottle thanks to bierkoning @ home shared with dad. Opaque black color, average sized brown head. Smell and taste malts, roast, coffee indeed and quite nicely bitter. Coffee and coffee bitter is quite dominant. Decent body and carbonation. Ok, work to be done, but definitely potential.

On tap @ Brewda 2015 and from 5 yr old bottle in 2020. Black color. Short beige head. Aroma's: roasted, fruity, with sweetness and red fruit retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, roast, light mocha, fruit. Medium bodied. Finishes with roast, light (coffee) sourness and moderate bitter.
After 5 years in the bottle the flavour seems much the same, although there is light oxidation. Very enjoyable though.

Strange vegetable aroma with some sweet peas. Smooth and creamy. Lots of sweet veg and not so much coffee.

Bottled 330ml (thanks Edo/Bierkoning)
Gusher bottle. Opaque brown color, small brown head. Aroma has chocolate, espresso and some yeasty notes. Medium-bodied. Very high carbonation, but no infection. Flavor is also chocolaty, coffee beans with typical "Dutch-yeast" (De Molen etc) flavors. Some alcohol and woody-vegetable notes. Just way too carbonated to be enjoyable.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB 03/2016, large sample. Dark brown color, big rocky brown head. Aroma is quite fruity, blackcurrant, some roast, bit chocolate, some spicy coffee. Some sweetness in taste, bit bitter, fruity, some cookie, quite some licorice. Quite high in carbonation, which makes the body quite thin. Sparkling on the tongue. Prefer it to be much more creamy.

On tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2015. Black, really black and light oily in the glass with a small head. Taste: Deepmalty and a lot of coffie and choco. Little bit alcoholic with berriefruits. Nearly real coffie to the end. Highly recommended!
