Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Amber colour, big slightly off-white creamy head. Aroma is bready malts with some crisp notes as well, also quite wooden and mildly grassy. Flavour is bready malts, some crisp crystal malty notes as well as some slight grassy and wooden notes. A quite balanced brew.

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big and blond but not very persistent foamy head. Bready cara-malty aroma with notes of biscuits and a tinge of honey. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Bready malty taste with notes of caramel, biscuits and herbal hoppy accents; sweet-bitter malty finish with rounded herbal hoppy spice. 29.X.10

The bottle looks good, but very much like the others from the brewery. Beer in the glass looks great - copper coloured, nice creamy head. Tastes malty, a bit smoky and spicy, finish a little bit scratchy. Very good beer!
