Nice and standard Bosch bottle design. Pours nearly black in the glass, great tanned but short living crown. Nuts on the nose. Surprise at the start. Definitive not a Porter. More in between a Lager and a Schwarzbier, roasted grainy. Metallic sweet malty taste in the middle, becomes more a light sourness to the finish. Easy to drink, but not a beer as expected.

Bottle from a Tegut in Marburg. Poured a clear dark brown/bronze body. Medium to big off white head. The nose is malty, notes of raisins. Mild malty taste, light soapy raisins in the finish. Really simple and lager-like, but not a bad beer.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 09/2012)
Opaque dark brown color, small steady beige head. Toasted, almost burned malty aroma with hints of cocoa. Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Slightly toasted, caramelly, bready and grainy. Dry, papery finish. Quite watery. Feels like a lager.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Ruby colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, roasted malts, some slight floral notes along with some slight wooden notes. Flavour is rather similar and has a rather good body. Very pleasant Porter. Toffee, ashes and sweet malts in aftertaste.
