Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn. Reddish brown color with a small beige/orange head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of spices,caramel and a yeasty touch.Sweet malty flavor spices,caramel,nuts,bread. Nice and pleasant.

50cl bottle, dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma is molasses, roasted malt, plums and spices. Flavor is molasses, ash, hops and dark chocolate. Finish is burnt malt and dark chocolate. Very oily mouthfeel. Weird brew, not really to my liking

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket hjemme 3 Des 11. Dyprød / veldig mørk. Pent, litt farget skum som varer en god stund. God krydret aroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken sammensatt: Syrlig frukt. Krydder. Avslutter søtt fruktig og blir tørr etter hvert. Nøttepreg. Mye sedimenter i flaska.

My Christmas beer no 34.2011.Dark brown colour with small head.Aroma is sweet and spicey nice vinious with flavor of honey and x-mas spices,tosted caramel and malt.

A mahongbrown beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is nice and fruitfull, full, plums and spicyness. Taste is dark fruity, plums, spicyness, some roastiness, lots of spicyness in the drying aftertaste. More freshness would be great. Medium bodied, nice carbonation. Good and spicy beer, but only final touch is missing.

Aroma has licorice, spices, some roasted malt and fruits from belgian yeast. Flavour is a bit messy with strawberries, orange peel, spices and hints of roastiness. Sticky and surprisingly thin palate and way too spicy finish with grassy hops and tartness. Too messy, but could improve with age. Dunno if it helps for the spice overload though.

Hazy nut brown color, small beige head. Strong aroma of hayish hops, yeast and clove. Medium-bodied. Caramel, toffee, banana, pepper, raisiny fruitcake, clove and solid amount of alcohol. Finish has "green" hoppy flavor. Quite strong and Christmasy. Like a Santa’s punch in your face.

Bottled (from Alko). Very deep colour, near black, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is raisins, alcohol, spices, mild yeast, some slight dark dry fruits and resiny notes. Flavour is rather much the same. Otherwise nicely balanced, but the alcohol is a bit much, especially when it gets a bit warmer in temperature. Sold a bit too fresh, aging will probably work very well for this one.

Bottle @ Helloween Beerfest, Århus. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of alt, caramel, spices, licorice. Taste is malt, caramel, licorice, berries, quite sød. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. 291011
