0.33 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Tongeren), best before January 2022. Clear, dark ruby with a thin, fluffy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, a little sourish, slightly fruity and quite vinous aroma of caramel, raisins, molasses, red wine, some oak and a touch of sherry. Quite sweet, slightly sour, vinous, malty and quite fruity taste of molasses, brown sugar, caramel, sherry, oak, red wine and a touch of vinegar, followed by a medium long, acidic, woody-dry and vinous finish. Medium to full body, quite astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great beer, starts so sweet-malty and only becomes acidic in the finish. Alvinne is capable of mastering such beers, and this one turned out fantastically.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is fris zuur fruitig en licht zoet met iets van bramen, krieken en iets van appelstroop of iets dergelijks. Misschien ga ik dit soort bieren toch nog wel eens waarderen. Best aardig.

Dark brown color, light beige head with medium lasting, some lacing. Aroma has wooden notes, light acidic, notes of ripe cherries as well. Flavor with moderate sourness, chery notes, wood amd slightly red wine hints. Slightly sweet notes in the final with mild acidic mouthfeel.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sour, caramel, sweet malt, oak, wood, berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, oak, wood, berry, dry.
