330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a dark ruby brown, thin dissipating head. Vibrant sour aroma, fruity, complex, oak. Taste is sharp, vibrant, complex, layered with good bruin fruits, well-integrated Burgundy influence with a crisp acidity and a long vinegary linger. Big flavour here, right up my street.

Bottle from beer[malade]. Brown color with thick light beige head. Aroma of yeast, red wine, candies, cherries, plums, wood, light oxidation. Nice sour taste with vinous notes, nougat, cherries, wood, light oxidation. Tasty.

Prawie jak burgundzkie wytrawne czerwone wino. Wyglad bardzo ciemny braz z nielicznymi refleksami krwistej czerwieni. Prawie bez piany, no moze na centymetr, gruboziarnista. Zapach, sliwowicy, wina, w smaku mokre drewno, nieco kwasnej wisni, winogrona cos w stylu shiraz, a wiec przyprawowosc wraz z kwaskiem, doskonale wytrawne winne i beczkowe w smaku, troche ciezkie, mimo ze alkohol perfekcyjnie ukryty. Wspaniale do dziczyzny czy wolowiny zamiast wina. Klasa sama w sobie. Zdecydowanie dla doswiadczonych jest to piwo

Hazy copper and light brown coloured body with almost no head at all, perhaps a feather of a thin white head. Aroma of sour funk, dry grass and yeast along with a touch of bread and some small amount of floral notes and a touch of medicinal and a metallic twang near the end. Light-bodied; Strong sour flavour at first with a good dose of flowers and funk noticeable and a little perfumey dry kick showing some light malt as well. Aftertaste shows mostly a sour funky flavour with a touch of light fruits like berries with a grassy and hay-like dry quality and finishing with some lightly sweet flavours and a dose of bread and yeast at the very end, but not much carbonation, which works well in this case. Overall, a very nice and well structured beer with a great sour profile without leading too much and a mellow complexity, complete with a deep dry character near the end. Nice to sample outside of Belgium, especially for the price! I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle purchased a few hours ago at SuperMarket Liqours in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$4,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Cheyenne, Wyoming on 05-June-2017.

Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-03 getrunken. Hui! Na da war das Weinfass beim Befüllen wohl noch nicht ganz leer gewesen? Eine schöne deutliche Rotweinnote, die diesem Bier richtig gut passt. Eich echt tolles Sour Ale!

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy dark brown, small head. Vinegary oaky nose. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Oaky with vinegar and red wine. Low bitterness. Intense, yet relaxed.

On Tap Hazy ornge wth no head. just a thin ring of fine bubbles around the edge. Cidery sourness, some vinnegar notes. Light pitted fruit and the wine barrels leave behind a nice flavor.
