Bottle. Clear brown color, tan head. Aroma has tannins, plums, cherry. Taste is tart cherry, soft roast. Decent.

Bottle at RBSG Lobby Share. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is red wine, leather, oak. Thin, oak, leather, vinegar, vinous, very good.

On tap at Torst. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, oak, vinegar, leather. Thin mouth, licorice, vinegar, oak tannin, nice tartness, very good.

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Alvinne Cuvée Freddy batch 3 (2015) ].Unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark berries, tart, grape, cherry, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, metalic, caramel, sweet malt, tart, berry, woody, acetone. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150926]

Bottle (I think) at the Sovereign for their Brouwerij Alvinne event. Poured a semi-opaque brown color (the room had low-lighting at this point so I’m not totally sure about how opaque it could be). Aroma was tart, funky notes with lightly malted fruits. Light cherry skins, wine notes.

On tap at Local Option. Almost black with a minimal head. Sour with vinegar, licorice, oak and some hints of red wine. I was not that impressed by this one.

Bottle - Soured malts, light tart dark fruit. Cloudy brown with a light brown head. Acidic, touch of early sour notes, wine and plum with a nice malty finish. Solid.

Beer Street, Brooklyn tap: pours brown with a small head. Aroma is pretty crazy. Lots of wine, chocolate, vinegar, and wine. Taste is different than the aroma... Mostly just weaker. Light chocolate notes. Quite aour. Light vinegar. Low carbonation. Not bad.

Flaske spandert av Rune under romjulslunsj i WC-veien 30 Des 15. Ultramørk amber. 0 skum. Forsiktig surølaroma. Smaken syrlige plommer. Behagelig øl.

Tap at Borefts 2015... Dark brown.. Thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet funk fruit nose... Soft tart balsamic fruits
