From tap @ source. Big, tan, good retention head. Colour is dark coppery to dark brown, hazy. Aroma is rich malty, caramel, spruce touch, bit nutty, mellow fruity. Taste is medium malty base, mellow fruity, toast, bit caramel, spicy touch, dry on the palate, soft carbonation, aroma is bit better than taste, low bitterness yet ok for the style, enjoyed.

Handbottled from the brewpub. Appearance is closer to dunkel rather than amber ale. Caramel and coffeeish aroma. Taste is more sweet centric. Not impressed.

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Hazy dark ruby-brown colour, big offwhite head. Aroma a bit mild, malty, very faint hops. Uninteresting. Taste medium roasted bitter, light to medium caramel sweet. A bit off-balance, the flavours do not work well together, sweetness conflicts with bitterness. Overall weird, almost no hops, weak malt character, not good for me.
