Bottle at Leeuwarden tasting. Opaque black color, small medium dark brown colored head. Aroma is malty, like a stout at first, but then the raspberry hits. Flavor is similar, with chocolate, even a decent bitter finish in the aftertaste. Very solid.

Bottle shared at CBJ - big thanks to Dave. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich chocolate-covered raspberries, light roast and earth, some bittersweet cocoa, cherry. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more decadent fresh and seedy raspberry and dense, layered chocolate. Delicious.

Dark brown. There's a lot of raspberry on the nose, with a bit of chocolate. Dark chocolate, abundant bourbon, soft raspberry, a little bit of alcohol. Good body, nice sweetness, but there's definitely some bitterness to balance. There is also a little tartness from the berry, but just a little and it doesn't veer into sour fruit weirdness, as is often the case with berry stouts. Excellent, especially considering this style doesn't normally work for me.

Poured from 500mL bottle (2023 vintage). Very dark brown with small tan head. Jammy raspberry, chocolate, bourbon is very feint, but enjoyable dessert beer.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich chocolate-covered raspberries, bourbon barrels, and dark sugars in good cohesion. Flavour is very rich, with big raspberry notes, a tiny touch of tartness, chocolate, and bourbon barrel presence to round everything out. As usual with Bottle Logic, everything is cohesive and carefully balanced. As a non-fan of fruited stouts, this is exquisite.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Opaque black brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, soft and slightly viscous, decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, soft rich dark chocolate interplays well with the rich and mildly candyish raspberry. The bourbon barrel brings up the back end but never dominates. Smooth finish finds all the flavours coming together, spicy linger.
