Fruity, a bit sweet, dark chocolate and raspberry, some bourbon. Quite a bit smoother than the '22 was. Some age clearly has helped, very nice.

On tap at Other Half. Pours black. Raspberry, bourbon, milk chocolate, creamy, bright tart raspberry, raspberry jam. Nice oily body. Good.

Medium body, fairly sweet, slightly boozy. Dark chocolate and red raspberries, fruity tartness, dries up towards the end. A little bit of sharpness from the berries but overall remains smooth, the barrel is not very noticeable and more could help. Nice.

Black, small tan head. Smells delightfully raspberry jam with chocolate mixed in, some bourbon, soft sweetness. Smooth, warming body, but could be thicker. Fairly boozy. Taste is decadent, rich. Good yet light roast, bourbon, slightly sharp rasberries.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small tan head, hint of lacing. Aroma is a raspberry truffle, through and through. Flavor less sweet than feared, bur still sweet, light bitter. Full on raspberry truffle. Full body. Certainly as advertised.

A beer to celebrate seeing some friends again. Seems more boozy and bourbon heavy than the 2018, but still with those buckets of raspberries and chocolate. Sweet, rich, smooth and soft, with loads of flavour. Absolutely outstanding once again.
