Sail Into The Black is our recent collaboration with @weirdbeardbrewco. A Black IPA with a delicious dry hop of Lemon Drop, Southern Cross and Motueka hops bringing waves of lemon and lime citrus over the dark base. Subdued roast and a dry, bitter finish follow!

Tap at Roberto’s, Digbeth. Poured a clear, black colour, with a mostly lasting frothy, off-white head. The aroma is light red berry fruits, dry ashtray. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a crisp, dry ashtray, tart red berry fruit, earthy, mineral, herbal, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A rather unusual black IPA! Off the scale really but that’s what makes craft beer interesting.
