* Old rating, best before 22.07.12. The beer starts mild and slightly grainy. Fresh, smooth and round. Not too deep but easy to drink.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with average frothy white head. Grainy and slightly muggy grassy aroma, very decent bitter hop note. Light body, lacks a malty basis almost completely. Watery gras and vegetable solution with a somniferous mildly dry hoppy finish.

Bottle that Ogi got at a store in Germany en route to Plzen, shared with him (thanks!) A fizzy yellow, lightly gilded body with a medium sized thick white head. Fizzy. Sweet malty nose with notes of little red summer apples and honey. Very sweet (for the style) distinctly honeyish strong malty taste. Quite nice. Hoips are an afterthought, light and herbal. I can understand why some wouldn’t like it but to me it hit the spot nicely and it’s definitely a quality beer. Well done Falter.

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Slightly grassy, herbal hoppy nose with a light sweet grainy malty background. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty, moderately grainy base with herbal accents; dry and bitter finish with herbal hops and a balancing malty sweetness. Not an outstanding but pretty rounded and likeable hoppy Export (11.07.07).

Bottle (Danke, Quack-Duck !): Clear, greenish-golden, mid-sized bleached persistent head; sweetish-grainy, a bit citrousy, a bit hoppy nose; light to medium bodied; solid sweet-bitter finish with a grainy touch. A decent thirst-quencher........
