500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Chocolate, roasted malt and cream in the aroma. Extremely chocolatey taste (must be artificial!) with cocoa and roasted malt dominating. Very sweet. A bit of a novelty, but enjoyable enough.

Konstig! Sliskig och odrickbar. Usch!

Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget in October 2012. Clear dark brown. What a beer! Incredibly sweet aroma and taste of chocolate milk, cocoa powder and some light notes of coffee. Like a sweet chocolate dessert but in a bottle. Very unbalanced. A difficult one to rate. Reminds me of a Swedish chocolate soda from the 80s.

bottle from bierpost. Deep brown, almost black colour, mid-sized, very creamy brown head. Chocolatey aroma. Full-bodied, sweet malty base with lots of bitter chocolate and roasetd malts, also hints of caramel and dried dates. Delicious and very chocolatey.

Pours dark brown with off-white head. Aroma is malty and chocolate. Flavor is alcohol and bitter chocolate. Not one I’d get again.

500ml bottle. Opaque black with average firm frothy to creamy moderately lacing tan head. Milk chocolate aroma, toasted malt, a minimal spicy note has hay, vanilla and clove; an artificial touch like chocolate ice-cream. Sweet milk chocolate taste, creamy palate. Hard to rate: Definitely too sweet, but with an unbelievably chocolately taste, delicious on one hand, with the vague impression of artificiality on the other. Definitely worth a try and kind of unique.

Smell of chocolate ice cream, also some other porter-like qualities. Very dark brown with chocolate brown, high head. Starts with very heavy chocolate aroma. Also some licorice. Toast in aftertaste. Bitter, in the dark-chocolate-bitter way. Chocolate aroma is rather artificial and dominating.

Bottle looks good, beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts fine malty, not too dry. Mild sweet with chocolate notes, not too intense. Dry background. Finish well balanced with interesting chocolate notes. Great beer!
