Still brewed today from selected dark malt applying the traditional triple mashing process, our AIBLINGER SCHWARZBIER distinguishes itself from other dark beers on account of its typical flavoursome malt aroma and smoothly rounded taste. Well-balanced aromatic bitters from the Hallertau hop-growing Region impart a full-bodied taste to AIBLINGER SCHARZBIER without appearing sweet.

“Maxlrainer Aiblinger Schwarzbier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun, sahniger Schaum.

500 ml bottle, served in mug. Pours brown-reddish with medium-sized head. Roasted malt, nuts, raisins, some smoke, a bit acidic. Light bitterness, overall mild taste. Light bodied, soft carbonated. A bit watery and therefore easy drinking even in summer. Okay Dunkel.

boca o.5L, klasični tamni lager, boja više tamno smeđa nego crna, blagog okusa i arome, lijepo gazirano, sve u svemu ništa posebno..

Pours an dark amber color with small off-white head. Smell is mostly of malts. Taste is pretty simple - malts with a bit of caramel. Roasty aftertaste. Body is thin and feels a bit empty and watery. Medium carbonation, dry finish. Overall, pretty bland and unimaginative.

Wygląd: Gęsta drobnopęcherzykowa piana, świetny lacing. Piwo o ciemno rubinowym kolorze. Zapach: Ciemne słody, delikatne nuty jakby wiśniowe. Smak: Przypalona skórka od chleba oraz kawa. Ogólnie: Dobre piwo, ciut zbyt słodkie jednakże jest to i tak pozycja godna polecenia.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Pours deep brown with a decent off-white/beige head. Aroma is terribile, metallic notes, sewer, dirty socks, wtf? Flavour is roasted malts, dirty water (sewer?), mild bitter. Light body, watery, flat. Terrible experience.

Oct ’14. A 0.5 l bottle at Beertija, Zagreb. It poured clear reddish brown body with medium to bigger head. Aroma of caramel and some roasted malt. Rather fine flavor, lightly sweet, toasted and roasted malts, pleasant, elegant and classical. Medium bodied with both lightly bitter and sweet finish as a result of balanced malt play and finally some hops (dry). Nicely done, no faults, although a bit plain. An interesting dunkel/schwarzbier blend.
