This flavour packed West Coast IPA exudes the pine, grapefruit, and floral aromas of the hops that grow here. Reminiscent of trekking through our beautiful BC forests on a late summer evening.

Poured from the tap (as Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar House IPA brewed by V.I.B., but asked and they said it was this one so didn’t bother making a new rating). Lightly hazed gold with small white head. Biscuit malt, pine, grapefruit, and floral hops. Decent.

Can shared by MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity! Lightly hazy light gold color with a thin white head that persists. Bready with light toast bits of grapefruit earth and light pine.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber-gold with a medium, frothy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit, light pine and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit rind, tangerine and pine resin in a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid oldskool Westy.

On tap at Vancouver Island, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals pine cones, a bit of citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of nicely bitter piney hops, a touch of citrus, and crisp biscuity malt. Clean, biting and perfectly balanced, producing a real nice west coast piney bitterness. Surprisingly skilled brew here — better than the majority of hazies on the market right now, that's for sure.

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Bright copper colour, with slight haze, and compact head. The aroma is moderately biscuity and herbal. Smooth, full bodied, with dominant malt, a bit cereally, biscuity; the hopping is herbal and resinous.
I prefer more modern (lighter colour) interpretations of the West Coast style, but this one is well made.
